Who is the Instructor?

  • Dr Haaris Shiwani is an Ophthalmology ST1 who achieved a near maximum score in the portfolio in the 2019/2020 application cycle. Dr Shiwani graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2018 before commencing the Academic Foundation Programme in the North West of England. He is an experienced educator with significant expertise in publishing and presenting letters, case reports and original research. Dr Shiwani has published over 15 peer reviewed papers in high impact factor journals including the New England Journal of Medicine and JAMA Ophthalmology. He has worked tirelessly to ensure every possible secret and shortcut is incorporated into this course so that applicants with a passion for Ophthalmology are not restricted from entering the field because of a tedious application process.

COVID has significantly altered the ophthalmology specialist training application and interview. The previous interview stations are no longer being employed. The only reliable aspect of the application that is still being utilised is the portfolio. In order to stay true to our clients and provide high quality RELIABLE information, we are currently only offering a portfolio preparation course as this remains the only aspect of the application that can be accurately taught.
